Netflix's tense 'Photocopier' trailer sees a student trying to trace photos leaked without her consent

What would you do if you lost out on a huge opportunity because someone leaked non consensual images of you?

That’s the question at the core of director Wregas Bhanuteja’s mystery/thriller Photocopier, which sees student Sur (Shenina Cinnamon) waking from a party to find out she’s lost her university scholarship due to photos of her being taken at the event without her knowledge and shared publicly without her consent. So, she decides to take matters into her own hands and track down whoever’s responsible.

With image based sexual abuse, privacy leaks, and large hacks on the rise, it sounds like this Indonesian thriller one might not always be an easy watch — but it will be very much of our time.

Photocopier is available to stream now on Netflix.
